Layton Police Department is actively searching for a suspect involved in a sudden and unprovoked attack on a man walking his dogs outside a Chevron gas station on Hill Field Road and Antelope Drive the evening of April 28. The violent incident was captured on surveillance video, showing a man in a green hoodie rushing the victim and attempting to harm one of his dogs.

Lieutenant Clint Bobrowski confirmed that dispatch received a 911 call from the victim, who sounded panicked and was running while asking for help. The unknown suspect allegedly approached the victim screaming before launching a physical assault.
