The St. Francis Episcopal Church Pumpkin Patch will be open from noon to 5 p.m. on Sundays and from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, concluding its season on November 1. Located at 726 Maple St., Denham Springs, this pumpkin patch offers a variety of pumpkins, photo opportunities, and even homemade pumpkin bread.
One of the most anticipated events is the 13th Gate Haunted Attraction, running Thursdays through Sundays until November 8. Visitors can experience a terrifying journey through 13 nightmarish realms within the 40,000-square-foot haunted house, open from 6:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. General admission is priced at $35, with VIP tickets available for $75. This year, Flashlight Fright Nights are scheduled for November 7 and 8, providing an additional spine-chilling experience.
For those seeking a theatrical scare, Friday Fright Night takes place at 225 Theatre Collective on 7338 Highland Road at 7:30 p.m.. Local actors will perform chilling monologues and eerie tales for audiences aged 13 and older, with tickets available for $15.

Film lovers can enjoy an interactive screening of the classic “Silence of the Lambs” at Manship Theatre, starting at 7:30 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to dress up for the event, which features live commentary and drinking games for $17.

This month’s theme is “Candy Plus Chemistry,” with workshops scheduled at 11 a.m., 1 p.m., and 3 p.m. on Saturday, and at 1:30 p.m. and 3 p.m. on Sunday.
