Patricia A. Huber, Renowned Physician, Passes Away at 77

URGENT UPDATE: Patricia “Pat” Anne Huber, a beloved physician and community member, has tragically passed away at the age of 77. She died on December 7, 2025, at St. Luke’s Fountain Hill in Coopersburg, Pennsylvania.

Born on July 15, 1948, Patricia was the cherished daughter of the late Maurice Duane Huber and Jean Anne Fretz. She dedicated her life to her family and her profession, sharing over 35 years of love and partnership with her husband, Dr. Steve Sisson. Patricia’s legacy extends beyond her family; she was a proud graduate of the University of Rochester and earned her M.D. from the University of Texas at Galveston. Following her residency at the University of Pennsylvania, she built a distinguished career as a physician known for her intelligence, compassion, and dedication.

Patricia was not only a skilled doctor but also a vibrant individual with a passion for life. She loved to cook and often gathered friends and family around her table, showcasing her culinary skills. Her enthusiasm for gardening and floral arranging enriched her life and brought beauty to those around her. A devoted reader, Patricia found solace in books, often immersing herself in literature.

Her love for animals was evident, as she found great joy in the company of her cats, Toby and Russo. Above all, Patricia held a special bond with her daughter, Dana, who was her closest friend. Her faith was a guiding force, as she actively participated in Trinity Episcopal Church, where she fostered lasting friendships and community ties.

Patricia is survived by her husband, Dr. R. Steven Sisson; her daughter, Dana Sisson; and her nephew, Jeff Huber. She was preceded in death by her two brothers, Rick and Ed Huber.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during calling hours from 1-2 p.m. on Sunday, December 28, 2025, at St. Margaret’s Episcopal Church, located at 150 Elm St, Emmaus, PA 18049. A memorial service will follow at 2 p.m., officiated by Mother Laura Howell.
