North Dakota State Named No. 1 Seed as FCS Playoffs Begin

URGENT UPDATE: Defending national champion North Dakota State has just been confirmed as the No. 1 seed in the Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) playoffs, leading a historic six teams from the Missouri Valley Football Conference (MVFC) into the tournament. The Bison, boasting an impressive 12-0 record, will make their 16th consecutive playoff appearance this season.

The playoffs kick off on Saturday, November 25, 2025, with first-round matchups already set. North Dakota State will enjoy a first-round bye, as will the other top eight seeds, allowing them to host the second-round games at home.
