Santa Fe Community College Launches 87 New Courses for Spring 2026

Santa Fe Community College (SFCC) has unveiled its Spring 2026 Continuing Education noncredit catalog, introducing an impressive **87 new courses** designed to engage working adults and lifelong learners. The expanded offerings reflect SFCC’s commitment to community partnerships and include weekend and evening classes aimed at accommodating diverse schedules.

The catalog showcases a variety of subjects, including personal enrichment and professional development in areas such as art, culinary studies, outdoor adventure, digital design, leadership, and language learning. Building on collaborations with local and corporate partners like **Revolution Bakery**, **the Railyard Performance Center**, and **Four Seasons Resort Santa Fe**, the college aims to create accessible educational opportunities for its community.

Benjamin Lincoln, the director of continuing education, stated, “SFCC’s Continuing Education thrives because of the shared vision we hold with our partners. Together, we’re cultivating spaces where creativity, skill, and curiosity meet opportunity.”

One highlight from the spring offerings is **Making Memoirs Memorable**, led by acclaimed author and educator **Elaine Koyama**. This course emphasizes storytelling through personal experiences, offering participants a chance to explore their narratives creatively.

In related news, **Northern New Mexico College** is seeking written third-party comments as part of an upcoming accreditation review for its bachelor’s degree nursing program. This evaluation will assess the program’s adherence to CCNE standards for accreditation, which were amended in **2024**.
