Lee County Hosts Beginner Beekeeping Course Starting February

The Iowa State University Extension and Outreach of Lee County is set to launch a Beginning Beekeeper Course aimed at those interested in entering the world of beekeeping. The course will take place every Thursday from February 5 to February 26, 2024, from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Lee County Extension Office located in Donnellson.

This four-session program will be conducted by experienced beekeeper Dave Tull, who will share his knowledge and skills to help participants start their beekeeping journey. The course is designed for beginners, making it accessible to anyone with an interest in this rewarding hobby.

Registration Details and Course Cost

Pre-registration is required for the course, as spaces tend to fill quickly. The cost to participate is $30 per individual. Interested attendees must register and submit payment by January 28, 2024, or until the class reaches full capacity.
