Authorities report that the youth was apprehended at a motel in East Grand Forks on Sunday afternoon, following the shocking robbery that took place around 5 a.m. on Saturday. Police allege the suspect pointed a small-caliber pistol at the gas station attendant, stealing approximately $390 before ordering the attendant to lie on the floor during his escape.
Despite the swift response from both Grand Forks Police and East Grand Forks Police, neither the stolen money nor the weapon has been recovered. The suspect is currently being held at Polk County Jail in Crookston, Minnesota, and was expected to be questioned further by authorities on Monday afternoon.
