Split Enz Announces New Show for Highly Anticipated Tour

Split Enz, the iconic New Zealand band featuring Tim Finn, Neil Finn, Eddie Rayner, and Noel Crombie, has announced a new show in Sydney as part of their upcoming Forever Enz Tour. This will mark the band’s first tour in nearly 20 years, set to take place in May 2026. The original Sydney date at the ICC Theatre has already sold out due to overwhelming demand, prompting the addition of a second performance on Tuesday, May 19.

The tour will kick off on Wednesday, May 13, at Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne, followed by two shows in Sydney on May 18 and the newly added date on May 19. The band will also perform at RAC Arena in Perth on Friday, May 22, and conclude the tour at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre on Monday, May 25. In addition to the tour, Split Enz is scheduled to headline at Bluesfest 2026, further highlighting their enduring popularity.

Formed in New Zealand in 1972 and relocating to Australia in 1975, Split Enz is widely recognized as one of the most significant antipodean bands of the past five decades. The band’s last live performance in Australia was during the 2009 Sound Relief concert held at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. In recognition of their contributions to music, Split Enz was inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame in 2005.

Tickets for the newly added Sydney show will go on sale on Friday, November 21, at 13:00 local time. An artist presale will begin earlier on Thursday, November 20, at 10:00 and will conclude on November 21 at 12:00.
