Lake Mead Mohave Adventures (LMMA) has announced the return of its festive tradition, “Rafting with Santa,” providing a unique holiday experience aboard the Hoover Dam Rafting Adventures’ motor-assisted rafts. Scheduled from December 17 to December 21, 2025, and on Christmas Eve, this 12-mile excursion along the Colorado River invites families, couples, and outdoor enthusiasts to celebrate the season in a spectacular natural setting.
The tour features various pricing options to accommodate different groups. A family bundle is available for $250, covering two adults and one child, with children aged four and under joining for free. Additional tickets can be purchased at $99 for extra adults and $75 for additional children. Couples can enjoy a special rate of $199, while an adult and child combination is priced at $175. Individual tickets are set at $100 for adults and $88 for youths.
Guests can look forward to Santa Claus and his helpers navigating the rafts, providing an engaging atmosphere filled with holiday spirit. Ground transportation will be offered from Lake Mead RV Village, with a special Christmas gift, a commemorative ornament, included in the package. Participants will also receive a boxed lunch, a souvenir cooler bag, and bottled water for a picnic along the way. Complimentary hot chocolate, candy canes, and Christmas music will enhance the festive experience, with opportunities for photographs with Santa at the tour’s conclusion at Willow Beach Marina.
The tour departs from the base of Hoover Dam at 10:00 a.m., with guests required to check in by 9:30 a.m. at the Lake Mead RV Village, located at 268 Lakeshore Road, Boulder City, NV 89005. An additional $15 National Park entrance fee applies for adult participants, although this fee is waived for holders of National Park, Golden Age, Eagle, or Access passes. Round-trip transportation from Las Vegas hotels is also available for $69 per person.
