URGENT UPDATE: Pam Francisco, a cherished community member, passed away peacefully on September 25, 2025, at the remarkable age of 100 years old. Her legacy of kindness and service has left an indelible mark on the lives of many in Cumberland, Wisconsin and beyond.
Born on April 3, 1925, Pam was renowned for her deep generosity and unwavering commitment to helping others. She dedicated many years volunteering at St. Luke’s Hospital, where her compassion touched the lives of countless patients and families. She also hosted Cub Scout meetings in her home and baked for numerous community fundraisers, always prioritizing the needs of others.
Pam’s culinary talents were legendary. Meals at her home were more than just food; they were gatherings filled with love, connection, and tradition. Her famous recipes will be remembered long after her passing, as her kitchen was a place where family and friends came together to create lasting memories.
Her sense of humor and sharp wit remained intact into her later years, making her a beloved figure among friends and family. Pam is survived by her sons, Russ Francisco and Greg Francisco (and wife Nancy), five grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren, as well as siblings George, John, Mary, and Gloria. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary (Lombard) Ricci, and her beloved son, Craig Francisco, along with twelve siblings.
A celebration of Pam’s life will take place on November 1, 2025, at the Cremation Society in Duluth. Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM, followed by a service at 12:00 PM, and will include food and fellowship, honoring the warmth and love she shared with her community.
