Republican Rep. Kristin Robbins Exits Minnesota Governor Race, Slams Political System
Kristin Robbins, chair of the Minnesota House Fraud Prevention and State Agency Oversight Committee, abruptly dropped out of the governor’s race on Friday, declaring the best fight for the state’s future lies outside the political system. Robbins, who has represented District 37A since 2018, criticized the “establishment political class, media and donors” for anointing Senator Amy Klobuchar despite what Robbins called Klobuchar’s “refusal to engage meaningfully on the issues that matter most to Minnesotans.”
