Doris C. Schleh, a cherished member of her community, passed away peacefully in her sleep at her home on December 5, 2025, at the age of 93. Known for her warmth and kindness, Doris leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories for her family and friends.
Born to parents Thora and Gaylord Geary, Doris was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Edward Matsen and Charles Schleh, as well as her son John Matsen, granddaughter Teasha, and siblings Norma Kjos, Viola Hauge, and Arnold Geary.
Despite facing such profound losses, Doris remained a vibrant presence in the lives of her surviving family members, including her daughter Nancy and grandsons Tyler and Jacob. Her spirit was particularly evident in her love for social gatherings, especially her Tuesday night outings to the Red Barn, where she enjoyed dancing with friends.
