Chris Golden to Bring Free Concerts to Englewood on February 15

Singer and songwriter Chris Golden will perform two free concerts at Fellowship Church of Englewood on February 15, 2026. Golden, known for his work with the legendary Oak Ridge Boys, will take the stage during the church’s 8:30 and 10:30 a.m. worship services. The community is invited to experience his uplifting music, which resonates with a message of hope and inspiration.

Golden’s musical journey spans decades, marked by significant achievements that reflect his dedication to the craft. After spending over 17 years touring with the Oak Ridge Boys, he has transitioned into a successful solo career as a Christian Country Gospel artist. His talents have garnered recognition, including the Crossover Artist of the Year Award at the 60th Annual International Country Gospel Music Association in 2016, and Entertainer of the Year in 2019.

The artist’s extensive experience includes performances alongside notable acts such as Alabama and Restless Heart. He has graced renowned venues, including The Ryman Auditorium and The Grand Ole Opry House, and has had the honor of performing for every living U.S. President. His deep commitment to ministry shines through in each concert, as he connects with audiences and shares messages of hope.

Beyond performing, Golden is also an accomplished producer, recognized as Instrumentalist of the Year and Producer of the Year by the International Country Music Association in 2020. Despite his accolades, he remains focused on his mission to uplift and inspire others. In 2010, a mentor reminded him to “Play for the One who gave you the gift,” a mantra that continues to guide his performances.

When not on tour, Golden cherishes time with his family, including his wife Marie and their three children: Elizabeth, Rebekah, and Elijah. He often describes them as his greatest treasures, emphasizing the importance of family in his life.
