Enjoy Live Music with Terry Rasor at The Corkyard Tonight

During the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo, attendees can unwind at The Corkyard, a vibrant wine and music venue located outside of Dickies Arena on the Simons Bank Plaza. The venue opens its doors at 17:30 and will host the musical talents of Terry Rasor for two performances at 18:15 and 21:45.

Terry Rasor, a native of Fort Worth, has significant roots in Texas music, having started his journey at a young age. He began playing the guitar and mandolin at just nine years old and was already performing by the age of fourteen with the acclaimed bluegrass group, The Sunset Harmony Boys. In the early 1970s, Rasor contributed to the evolution of progressive country music as a founding member of the acoustic ensemble Trinity, which blended traditional sounds with the contemporary West Coast influences of the time.

As a solo artist and bandleader, Rasor has consistently forged his own path. In the late 1980s, he formed the band Over The Edge and released a live album recorded at Fort Worth’s iconic Caravan of Dreams. Rasor is not only recognized for his exceptional songwriting and musicianship but has also been a strong advocate for independent singer-songwriters. He has showcased numerous artists at his annual three-day event, the ‘Raz On The Braz’ Music Festival.

In addition to his musical ventures, Rasor has spent the past fifteen years as the weekly anchor on ‘Raz n Freindz’ Swappin’ Songs, further solidifying his role in the local music community.

Tonight, guests at The Corkyard can enjoy a refreshing glass of wine while experiencing the rich musical heritage that Terry Rasor brings to the stage. With two opportunities to catch his performance, it promises to be a memorable evening for all attendees.
