Jamie Chung and Bryan Greenberg Update Fans on Home Rebuild

Jamie Chung and Bryan Greenberg are making significant strides in rebuilding their home nearly a year after it was destroyed by devastating wildfires in Los Angeles. Chung, 42, shared an emotional update on Instagram on January 2, reflecting on the toll the disaster took on her mental health and relationships. “Immediately after the fires, my sanity, overall well-being, and relationships were put to the test. It almost broke me,” she wrote.

The couple lost their home during the Eaton fires in January 2025, a catastrophic event that ravaged thousands of acres and resulted in numerous fatalities. Chung expressed gratitude for the support they received during this challenging period, particularly highlighting the introduction to a design team that helped them envision their new home. “It felt like all hope was lost until @sacha.streg introduced me to the dream team, Cleo and McShane at @studiomurnane,” Chung explained.

Design Plans and Family Involvement

Recently, Chung and Greenberg, 47, were able to review the new design plans for their reconstructed home. They expressed excitement about the opportunity to make adjustments before construction commenced. Their twin sons, who were born via surrogate in 2021, participated in the process by seeing their future rooms for the first time. “Today we were fortunate enough to walk through the new plans thanks to @walkyourplansla,” Chung noted.

Chung and Greenberg acknowledged the emotional journey that lies ahead, stating, “We don’t know all the future challenges this project will bring. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who has held our hands throughout this incredibly emotional journey.” They thanked friends, family, and community members in Altadena and Palisades for their support.

The couple managed to evacuate safely when the fires ignited, and Chung has previously praised the efforts of first responders. “Thank you to all our brave firefighters and first responders,” she stated last year. “If you’re in red alert areas, have your bags ready to go. Safety first. Praying for all the families impacted by the fires.”

Reflections on Resilience

Following the disaster, Greenberg took to Instagram to share the heartbreaking news of their home’s destruction. “Was supposed to be our forever home, but nothing lasts forever,” he wrote alongside footage of the rubble. He urged followers to support other fire victims who were less fortunate, stating, “Thankfully our family is safe.”

Chung and Greenberg, who have been together since 2012 and married in 2015, continue to reflect on their relationship and the strength they draw from each other. In a previous interview, Chung described the foundation of their marriage: “What I love about Bryan is he understands the business, but also, we’re there to support each other. It’s not a competition.”

As they navigate the challenges of rebuilding, Chung and Greenberg remain committed to each other and their family. Their story serves as a reminder of resilience in the face of adversity, and they continue to inspire others with their journey.
