Born to Goodwin and Louise Roberts, Bruce graduated from Miami University of Ohio in 1963, followed by obtaining his law degree from Northwestern University School of Law in 1968. He began his legal career in Chicago under the mentorship of esteemed lawyer Daniel M. Schuyler. In 1980, he co-founded the law firm Roberts and Pinter in Inverness, where he practiced law for an impressive 51 years.

Bruce’s commitment to his profession was matched only by his dedication to his family. He was a devoted husband to his wife, Alice, for 56 years. Bruce took immense pride in being a father to his sons, Gregory (married to Ryann) and Jonathan (married to Kelly), as well as a doting grandfather to his grandchildren, Hudson, aged 11, and Samantha, aged 7.

Bruce’s family will remember him for his ethical practice of law, his love for golf, and his whimsical artistic talents, which brought joy to those around him. He is predeceased by his parents and his nephew, Joshua Roberts. He is survived by his brother, Barry Roberts (married to Marlene), along with a niece, Hannah Roberts (married to John Brown), a nephew, Jesse Roberts, and grandnieces Grace and Finley McKinnon, as well as his sister-in-law, Ruth Cortright.
