Julie Dreyfuss, the executive director of the La Plata County Humane Society (LPCHS), announced her departure from the organization after two impactful years. Her last official day will be December 31, 2023. Dreyfuss cited personal reasons for her decision, expressing both sadness and pride as she reflects on the achievements made during her tenure.
