Rainfall is expected to persist until 2 p.m., accumulating between 0.5 to 0.75 inches. With current temperatures hovering around 47 degrees, residents are advised to exercise caution while traveling. Winds will shift from the north to the west later in the afternoon, providing some relief from the damp conditions.
As night falls, the forecast indicates a significant shift: skies are anticipated to clear, with temperatures plummeting to a brisk 29 degrees. The NWS notes that winds will calm after midnight, allowing for a chilly but clear Wednesday morning.
Looking ahead, residents can expect a sunny Wednesday with a high near 48 degrees. The evening will also remain mostly clear, dipping back to around 30 degrees. On Thursday, temperatures will rise slightly, peaking at 53 degrees under partly sunny skies, with gentle winds shifting to the west.
However, the respite will be short-lived. Rain is set to return by Friday afternoon, bringing a 60% chance of precipitation and a high near 41 degrees. Friday night will see increased cloud cover with a 70% chance of rain, cooling down to around 34 degrees.
