One Dead, One Injured in Arlington I-30 Crash Early Saturday

UPDATE: A tragic crash on Interstate 30 in Arlington, Texas has resulted in the death of one person and left another injured early Saturday morning. Emergency responders were dispatched just before 2 a.m. after multiple 911 calls reported a severe collision involving two vehicles, one of which was engulfed in flames.

Upon arrival at the scene, located near SH 360 and Great Southwest Parkway, police found a white sedan on fire alongside a gray sedan. Firefighters quickly extinguished the blaze, but the driver of the white sedan was pronounced dead at the site of the accident. The driver of the gray sedan sustained injuries and was promptly transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Preliminary investigations reveal that both vehicles were traveling westbound on I-30 when the white sedan lost control, colliding with the gray sedan before crashing into a wall and catching fire. Police have not yet determined the cause of the white sedan’s loss of control.

Authorities are urging anyone with additional information about the incident to come forward as the investigation continues. The identity of the deceased driver has not been released pending notification of family.
