The report, obtained by The Daily Mirror, indicates that Hamas is actively shifting its operational focus abroad, marking a strategic change after years of concentrating on Israel, Gaza, and the West Bank. According to intelligence experts, European and other intelligence services have uncovered numerous early-stage plans, weapons caches, and connections to organized crime that support these dangerous ambitions. The group’s recent setbacks in Gaza, including significant losses, appear to have galvanized its leadership to pursue attacks outside their traditional strongholds. “The organisation’s leadership now appears more willing to accept the strategic risks of external operations,” the report states.
