URGENT UPDATE: A person is in critical condition following a shooting on the east side of Indianapolis early this morning. Authorities report the incident occurred just after 4 a.m. on November 23, 2023, in the 3800 block of East 38th Street, near North Sherman Drive.
Upon arrival, officers from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) found the victim suffering from gunshot wounds and immediately initiated emergency medical assistance. The condition of the victim remains critical as police continue their investigation.
