The incident occurred at approximately 2:54 a.m. near the intersection of 60th Avenue and San Leandro Street, confirming a troubling trend in the area.
According to authorities, the unidentified man was sitting on the railroad tracks when he was hit by an eastbound Union Pacific freight train. Emergency responders pronounced him dead at the scene. This follows another fatal incident that took place just hours earlier, around 9:40 a.m. on Tuesday, near 37th Avenue and East 9th Street.
