Connecticut State Community College Launches Accelerated Spring Courses

Connecticut State Community College (CSCC) is set to introduce accelerated courses for the upcoming spring semester, with classes commencing in February and March 2024. This initiative allows students to complete the same curriculum as a standard 15-week semester in a shorter timeframe. Classes will be available both online and on campus, catering to a diverse range of subjects and student needs.

The accelerated courses encompass various fields, including business, humanities, social sciences, STEM, and the arts. Key offerings include accounting, American government, art history, business law, calculus, chemistry, computer programming, creative writing, criminal justice, economics, English as a second language, entrepreneurship, environmental science, graphic design, history, mass communication, psychology, sociology, and world languages.

Flexible Enrollment Options for All Students

Visiting students are also encouraged to enroll and should consult with their home institutions regarding credit transfers. CSCC provides financial aid options and payment plans for both full-time and part-time credit students who meet eligibility criteria. Additionally, eligible students can utilize veterans benefits to support their education.

New students interested in joining the spring session can begin the registration process by completing the free online application available at ctstate.edu/apply.
