Byrd, who recently relocated his family to Lynn, Massachusetts in 2024, expressed his commitment to uplifting the community even before his church officially opens. “If you’re doing something good, people want to be a part of it. It’s cool to see the community come together,” he shared.
In collaboration with Tony Rosenfeld of One Mighty Mill, Byrd secured the bagels, while local elected officials contributed cream cheese to enhance the offering. He plans to officially open Navigation Church in September 2024, aiming to provide hope and support to those in need. “We seek to provide hope for those on the journey,” he explained. “I think the greatest hope is found in Christ.”
