Andy Dick Revived After Apparent Overdose in Hollywood Street

URGENT UPDATE: Comedian Andy Dick was reportedly revived after suffering an apparent drug overdose on a Hollywood street on Tuesday. Bystanders quickly intervened, administering Narcan to the 59-year-old as he lay unconscious on a concrete staircase outside a building in Los Angeles.

Shocking images obtained by TMZ show Dick slumped over, wearing a brown jacket, pajama pants, and Crocs, with his distinctive rectangular glasses scattered nearby. Eyewitnesses described frantic scenes as friends rushed to his side, with one reportedly screaming for him to “wake up” while others called for emergency assistance.

According to reports, a dose of Narcan was successfully administered, prompting Dick to regain consciousness just as first responders from the Los Angeles Fire Department and police arrived on the scene. Despite being offered additional medical treatment and transportation to a hospital, Dick declined further assistance, telling TMZ that he was “alive and OK.”

This incident comes amid a series of legal troubles for the former “Ben Stiller Show” star. In November 2022, he was convicted of sexual battery for inappropriate contact with an Uber driver in April 2018 and was sentenced to 90 days in prison. He is also required to register as a sex offender. Less than two months after his release, Dick faced arrest again for public intoxication and failing to register as a sex offender.

In May 2022, Dick was arrested on charges of felony sexual battery after a man, identified as “JJ,” accused him of molestation while he slept. However, those charges were dropped when the alleged victim ceased cooperation with the investigation.

The latest incident highlights the ongoing struggles faced by the comedian, whose career has been marred by numerous controversies and legal issues. As details continue to unfold, it remains uncertain how this event will impact his already tumultuous career.
