On March 2, 2026, Raken, a prominent construction management platform, announced its first product integration with Bluebeam, a leading provider of digital solutions for the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) sectors. This collaboration aims to enhance field workflows by merging Raken’s field-first capabilities with Bluebeam’s advanced markup and collaboration tools, effectively streamlining communication for users across both platforms.
Ty Kalklosch, CEO of Raken, emphasized the company’s mission to simplify on-site documentation and sharing. “Our goal has always been to provide field crews with the easiest way to document and share what’s happening on-site,” he noted. “Raken’s integration with Bluebeam now enables even faster, real-time collaboration by bringing together the field’s preferred app with their essential collaboration tools. This integration is the first step in our partnership.”
Key Features of the Integration
The integration features a redesigned Request for Information (RFI) workflow, which aims to reduce the delays between identifying site issues and obtaining design resolutions. Key attributes of this integration include:
- Frictionless RFI Management: Field and office teams can create new RFIs within Raken, attach relevant documents, and capture partner responses using a straightforward guest mode.
- Integrated Bluebeam Workflows: Users can initiate Bluebeam Studio Sessions directly from Raken RFIs. All associated PDF attachments are automatically included, and team members are promptly invited to join the collaboration.
- Seamless Markup Collaboration: Invitees can review and mark up drawings using Bluebeam’s recognized tools, ensuring a familiar experience.
- Automated Document Sync: Once a session concludes, all modified files are saved back to the Raken RFI as new attachments, providing teams with the latest information without the need for manual uploads.
- Centralized History: All documents and markups are organized in Raken, offering a comprehensive, searchable archive of every RFI associated with the project.
Future Collaborations and Trade Show Presence
Both Raken and Bluebeam will showcase this integration at the CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2026 trade show in Las Vegas from March 3 to March 7. Attendees are encouraged to visit their booths for further information and live demonstrations. Raken will be located in the North Hall at Booth #N13125, while Bluebeam can be found at Booth #N10249.
Raken continues to be at the forefront of construction management by providing a user-friendly app designed to streamline essential field workflows, including daily reporting, time and production tracking, resource scheduling, and safety management. The company’s commitment to enhancing real-time information flow between field and office teams aims to improve reliability and decision-making processes, ultimately saving contractors time and money.
