Tosca Theresa Pardini, a beloved matriarch, passed away peacefully on November 16, 2025, surrounded by her family. She was 94 years old. Tosca’s final moments, accompanied by Frank Sinatra’s “Fly Me to the Moon,” were marked by a ray of sunshine breaking through a cloudy sky as her family held her close.
Born in San Francisco on May 7, 1931, Tosca carried the spirit of her hometown throughout her life. Later, she settled in Ross, California, where she cultivated a life rich in family bonds, traditions, and love. She married her soulmate, Sergio Pardini, on February 17, 1952, at the Saints Peter and Paul Church in North Beach. Their 61 years of marriage were filled with adventure, devotion, and a deep connection that guided their journey together.
Tosca was known for her warmth and elegance. She created a welcoming home that embraced everyone who entered. Proud of her Italian heritage, she lovingly passed down traditions that resonated with her family. Her kindness and grace touched the lives of many, and her flair for style was evident in her fashion choices. Tosca and Sergio enjoyed dancing together, bringing joy to every gathering they attended.
As a talented cook, she was especially renowned for her lasagna and lobster thermidor. Her natural gift for interior design and her ability to create beauty and comfort in her surroundings were hallmarks of her character. Tosca was a true class act whose presence left a lasting impression on all who knew her.
She is survived by her three children: Mario and his wife Theresa Pardini, Paul and his wife Laurie Pardini, and Laura and her husband Shawn Ferjanec. Tosca cherished her role as Nonna, forming close bonds with her grandchildren: Jenna Bottom and her husband Jeff Bottom, Daniel Pardini and his wife Carlie, Kimberly Horan and her husband Mike, Lauren Baldwin and her husband Nick, and Courtney Pardini. Her legacy continues through her treasured great-grandchildren: Kennedy and London Bottom, Elle, Liam, and Jaxson Pardini, Noah and Quinn Horan, and Shelby and Barrett Baldwin. Each of them brought her immense joy.
Tosca leaves behind a family who adored her and will forever hold her memory in their hearts. Although she is no longer physically present, her spirit will continue to guide and comfort those she loved.
A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on November 22, 2025, at the Valley Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel, located at 650 Bugeia Lane, Novato.
