April Lewin Wins Grand Prize in Madison County Photo Contest

Madison County has declared April Lewin from Canastota as the grand prize winner of the 2025 Madison County Photo Contest. Her captivating image, titled “Old barn in winter on Jones Rd. in Erieville, NY,” showcases the scenic beauty of the town of Nelson and the wider Madison County area. As part of her award, Lewin’s photo will grace the cover of the 2026 Madison County Calendar, and she has received a $200 gift card to the Peterboro Table located in Morrisville.

The Madison County Tourism department, alongside the Peterboro Table, sponsored the grand prize, emphasizing their commitment to celebrating local talent and community spirit. Lewin’s recognition highlights the rich visual narrative of Madison County, inviting residents and visitors alike to appreciate its landscapes.
