Celebrity Inmates’ Thanksgiving Menus Revealed for 2023

Four high-profile inmates, including Sean “Diddy” Combs and Josh Duggar, will celebrate Thanksgiving behind bars this year, each with a unique menu as they serve their respective sentences. Us Weekly has confirmed the Thanksgiving meals for these incarcerated celebrities, providing insight into how they will mark the holiday within the confines of their facilities.

Diddy and His Holiday Feast

Sean “Diddy” Combs, 56, will spend Thanksgiving at Fort Dix in New Jersey, where he is serving a 50-month sentence for two counts related to prostitution. According to the facility’s holiday menu, Diddy will receive a turkey roast with gravy, accompanied by cornbread, baked sweet potatoes, and corn. For dessert, a holiday treat will be provided, alongside a light dinner choice of either a peanut butter and jelly sandwich or a deli sandwich, served with potato chips and fruit.

Diddy’s release date is set for June 4, 2028, following his conviction in July 2023. He was initially arrested in September 2024, charged with multiple serious offenses, but only convicted on two counts.

Thanksgiving in Texas for Josh Duggar

Meanwhile, Josh Duggar, 37, will observe Thanksgiving at FCI Seagoville in Texas, where he is serving over 12 years for receiving and possessing child pornography. His meal will feature roast turkey with gravy or honey glazed ham, with vegetarian options including vegetable lasagna or stuffed peppers.

Duggar’s feast will also include cornbread, a broccoli and cheese casserole, green bean casserole, and candied sweet potatoes. For dessert, he can indulge in a slice of pecan pie. The prison recreation department has organized a weekend of activities, including games like pass/punt/kick and ping-pong, scheduled from November 29 to November 30. His projected release date is December 23, 2032.

Fetty Wap’s Thanksgiving Menu

Fetty Wap, whose real name is Willie Maxwell II, is currently serving a six-year sentence at FCI Sandstone in Minnesota for drug trafficking. He will enjoy a Thanksgiving meal featuring roasted turkey, mashed potatoes with gravy, stuffing, corn, and a side of quinoa, along with pumpkin pie for dessert.

In addition to the meal, the facility will hold church services and regular recreational activities on Thanksgiving Day. Originally arrested in October 2021, Maxwell has had his release date adjusted and is now expected to be released on December 8, 2026, just in time for Christmas next year.

Jared Fogle’s Thanksgiving Experience

Lastly, Jared Fogle, known for his association with Subway, will spend Thanksgiving at FCI Englewood in Colorado. Fogle, 48, is serving more than 15 years for child pornography charges. His meal will consist of roast turkey or honey ham, mashed potatoes with gravy, cornbread, and a garden salad, ending with a choice of pumpkin or cherry pie for dessert.

Fogle’s facility has organized various indoor and outdoor recreational activities over the holiday weekend, including games of billiards and tennis. He is scheduled for release on March 24, 2029, after being convicted in November 2015.

Thanksgiving in prison offers these individuals a moment of reflection, as noted by incarcerated writer Justin Slavinski, who highlighted the rare opportunities for respect and dignity during the holiday season. For many inmates, including celebrities, the holiday meals serve as a small reminder of the outside world and the traditions they once enjoyed.
