Reverend Robert T. Finlan, a graduate of Marian High School, will continue to serve as Principal as the institution readies itself for its historic 75th anniversary in 2029. The Diocese of Allentown announced this decision following a comprehensive evaluation process conducted by the Principal Search Committee. Their work focused on determining the leadership needs of Marian High School in the coming years.
Bishop Alfred A. Schlert and the Marian High School Board of Directors expressed their deep appreciation for the committee’s diligent efforts. “I am grateful for the faithful efforts of the Principal Search Committee and for the clarity their work brought to our shared mission for Marian High School,” Bishop Schlert stated. He emphasized the importance of maintaining the school’s Catholic identity while guiding it into the future.
Fr. Finlan has been praised for his unwavering commitment to Catholic education and his strong ties to the Marian community. “Father Finlan has shown a deep dedication to this mission and to the young people and families served by Marian,” Bishop Schlert added. The Board of Directors also highlighted Finlan’s steady leadership since he took on the role.
