Boulder County Urgently Seeks Public Input on Ag Division Manager

UPDATE: Boulder County Parks & Open Space is urgently seeking public insights as they search for a new Agricultural Resources Division Manager. Residents are invited to contribute their thoughts on the essential responsibilities and qualifications for this critical role, which oversees 26,000 acres of agricultural land.

The county has received applications from over 70 candidates, narrowing this pool to more than 50 hopefuls who will undergo a blind screening process focused on key factors such as agricultural expertise, leadership skills, and experience in community collaboration. This initiative aims to ensure a qualified leader who can effectively manage budget planning, strategic initiatives, and promote diversity, equity, and inclusion.

By utilizing a public survey, Boulder County seeks to shape the interview questions and final evaluations for candidates.
