Visma-Lease a Bike has officially launched their race kit for the 2026 season, featuring an eye-catching design for both their men’s and women’s teams. The new kit maintains the squad’s signature colors of yellow and black while introducing innovative patterns that pay homage to the team’s nickname, “The Bees.”
The updated race kit is produced by Nimbl, which transitioned from providing footwear to managing the entire race kit line last July, a change that coincided with the arrival of Rabobank as a sponsor. In a press release, Visma-Lease a Bike emphasized that the 2026 kit is designed under the tagline “New Season, New Skin.” The kit serves a triple purpose: to enhance performance and comfort for the riders, ensure visibility for fans, and promote rapid recognition within the peloton.
Design Highlights and Team Identity
The new kit’s design remains true to the iconic yellow, now complemented by additional black details that provide contrast and sharpness. According to the team, the vibrant yellow is intended to boost visibility for both fans along the route and those watching on screen. The release describes the design as a continuation of the 2025 models, featuring a pattern inspired by bee hairs, symbolizing the collective strength and teamwork that characterize Visma-Lease a Bike.
Richard Plugge, the general manager of the team, stated, “A new season always means evaluating, improving, and building further. Our 2026 kit reflects that approach: recognizable in who we are, yet with attention to detail and development.” The kit is crafted to function like a second skin, protecting and moving with the rider.
The introduction of this new kit marks an important step for Visma-Lease a Bike as they prepare for the upcoming racing season. The combination of striking aesthetics and practical design elements aims to enhance both performance on the road and the overall experience for fans. With the new kit, the team looks forward to making a strong statement in the peloton during the 2026 racing events.
